The Anthology

This whole thing seems to be progressing well. We've got seven out of ten of our guest submissions and we're only waiting for one more student submission. The sub-editing team have now got copies of all the work and they're going to organise things into a vague book-like shape. We now have a deadline for our cover images and a deadline to pick one for the cover. The launch (Friday June 6th) has been booked and there will be booze. All in all it looks like we're going to have a book.

Fixed

Two weeks of 2am bed times. Every night staring at the same, gradually changing, bits of prose. Fours hours solid reading other people's work. One night of half a movie, a sofa crash and a 3am crawl into proper bed. A final Friday of rushed response to critique followed by a final hand in/submission.

Job Done. The relult is, hopefully, not too embarassing either.

One weekend of near-noon wakings. One weekend of reading, relaxing, lounging.

I'm fixed. For now. Tonight it starts again.
